Date/Time issues with Voice Mail 2

Hello Lovely People,

We discovered today that our voice mail is giving us the incorrect date and time of a message.

Today is March 4th. I rang and left a message on the system. When I checked that message it said I had left it on Feb 14th.

I've double checked the date/time on the set that hosts the inbox and that has today's correct date & time. In fact ALL our phones say the correct date and time.

What's going on here?

The phone in question is a M7208.

Check the year and date in phone system then reboot vm. That is where it gets its info for time and date.

If F984 doesn't work, try F987 to change the time and date. This only applies to the old Startalk and Mini.

F987 got me to where I needed to be but weirdly wont let me change the date!.

I type 110310 but it says invalid date - what?

If your able to chg the time n date via f984 or f987 then you have a vmail system that isnt y2k compatible so you wont be able to chg the year past 99, but you can set the time to be the same as the KSU's time.

You've got an old version of software. 2.0.4L was Y2K compliant. Check your version by logging into F983 and then press 9.

Use 1994 as it is the same calendar as 2011. You'll have to change again next year as 2012 is a leap year.

2.6 sounds like you have a Startalk Mini. Those were never made Y2K compliant. At least you're good now for about 11 months.

Try setting the year to 1994 as it has the same dates as 2011.
