I recently set up a new unix master server in California. While there are hands on people onsite we still manage the environent from DC. From my desktop I run the JAVA GUI to monitor the backups but the times are showing EST instead of PST. It's awfully confusing! Any ideas on why or how to make them show as PST - ie matching what the clock on the aix master says.

I wasn't aware you could change the times. when I was at Applied we learned to live with the 2hr PST to CST timing conversion

sounds like a long call to Veritas to me!

There is an option but I've never used it. From the GUI select FILE/Adjust Application Timezone.

There is a help topic which trys to explain it. Open help and search for 'Timezone'.
