Date field on form not returning value in queries

I think the title kinda says it all.

I have this form with only unbound controls. There are about 7 or 8 text/combo boxes that the user will enter information into - one of them being the txtDate control. Whenever I try to pull the value of that text box it simply comes up blank - and I have no idea why.

I have spent a while now trying to figure this out. I have deleted the text box and added another, removed the input mask, added it back . . .

I'm at my wits end. Oh, and yes it is set to Short Date format.

I'm not sure what you are doing, but if you are trying to pass the value of that textbox, be sure that you use the # sign delimiters because it's a Date field.

Are you using the Value property of the textbox? If so, remove the Value property or use the Text proerty. The Text property is the current contents of the control. The Value property is the saved value of the text box control. Terry L. Broadbent
