Hi All

does anyone know how to output only the date (not time) on the afterupdate of a microsoft date control?

THanks

Ali

how about date() instead of now()

Pampers [afro]
Keeping it simple can be complicated

Which control are you using? It is generally possible to format date/time to show just date or time.

I m using the microsoft date and time picker control 6.0. found in toolbox

after update it enters the date chosen and enters it into a text box, at present its enterring date and time but i only need the date

THanks

Ali

Have you looked at the properties specific to the control? It should be possible to set the format to short date. I find that my version of Access defaults to short date, so I wonder if you have any code related to this control?

Anyway, the Int() function strips out the time portion of a DateTime field.

Hope This Helps, PH.
