Date Code In Serial Numbers

I've got an issue with some 4620 phones and think it may be date of manufacture related. Does anyone know how to get the manufacture date from the serial number - for example is the week number or month number embedded in the serial number string?

I am fairly certain that the date of manufacture is not a part of the serial number.

If you are having problems with the echo issue on the speaker phone of the 4620, the serial numbers that are covered by the PCN are 041641xxxxxx through 041649xxxxxx, and these phones were all manufactured between October and November of this year.

Thanks IPSI. I was aware of the speakerphone issue but that's not the problem I have. Actually I have two and both were fixed by switching to a different (newer) hardware rev of the 4620. One was RFI (popping noise in speaker) from Nextel phones. The other was intermittant DTMF sidetone when dialing - the phone always displays and dials correctly but sometimes you don't hear the tone in your ear when you push the button. Avaya told me the RFI issue is only certain mnaufacture dates but I'm trying to see if there is date pattern on the other issue. Have you seen this problem?
