I have an HP Vectra PC that gives the error 0011-74 Date & Time Lost. I press F1 to continue that it finishes rebooting. It does this every morning. I do I get this to go away.

I don't know about this model specifically, but normally problems like this are down to the cmos battery dying. Check your documentation to see how to change it.

cmos battery is dead. it's not keeping the memory alive when you power the computer down for the night, so you have to start fresh again the next morning.

be glad we have plug n play. it was a real hassle for that to happen back in the days of the venerable 286's. "It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission." - Rear Admiral Dr. Grace Hopper

Thanks- I am going to replace the CMOS Battery. I was thinking it was that but not totally sure.
