I have a small farm with MetaFrame XPa, FR3, running on W2K Server, SP3. When I installed the first server in this farm, I allowed the MetaFrame installation routine to create an access datastore on that server. I have since added several servers with better hardware, and I want to remove the first server, so I need to move the datastore.

I also want to look at using SQL rather than Access. How would I move the datastore from Access on one server to SQL on another server? From where do I install SQL? Also, does a SQL datastore stay on one specific server like Access, or can it be replicated to more than one server in the farm? Are there any advantages to using SQL rather than Access?

Thanks for your help. I am new enough to Citrix that I have never had to move a datastore until now.

DSMAINT MIGRATE

THE CD?

It can be replicated.

Far more robust, stable and scalable.
