Don't know....would have to see the code in the DBGrid1_RowColChange event.
I seem to remember something about a bug like this a long time ago. So, before going any further, are you using VB6 SP5? If not then download and install it first. And, because you mention "DataGrid", I assum that you are using an OLEDB DataGrid and an ADO recordset or data control. Is This correct? If so, then are you using a DataControl and binding the grid to it?
What does ?rs(0) or ?DataGrid1.Recordset(0) in the immediate window produce if you put a break point in the DBGrid1_RowColChange event?
