Hi, this could be debatable, but I suggest you to use VFP database which is more versatile for VFP applications. You wont regret the decision.

Yes, in VB you could use the Visual FoxPro ODBC drivers to access most all of VFP's database capabilities. You'll be able to acces even more with the VFP 7.0 OLEDB drivers (right now only available with VFP 7.0, and some .NET BETAs). These should be available soon at
