I have been used database for years and know how to normalize that database. I have been creating simple database driven websites for years also (these database are very simple and are not normalized). I am not working on a project with a database that could be normalized, but it will only be used on the web. The database will have a lot of redundant data. It will also be an Access 2003 database for now. There will be about 6 tables referenced from the main table and displayed on the webpage. I want this to be as fast as possible while maintaining a good database. I have been searching everywhere for some advice and have really found nothing to answer this. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions. If you need more information, let me know and I can post more. Thanks in advance.

there is no exceptable reason why your database design no matter how small or large should not be normalized and designed to perform in the best manner it is inteded to.

To think otherwise is not good practice for any development. This mostly can be even more important for web development as the efficientcy of the site needs to be optimized far more then a regular bit of software due to otehr variables envolved.
