Hello

When a MS Access 2000 DB is opened, we immediately see an inner and outer frame. The inner frame contains the name of the database as in: test: Database. This inner frame contains the names of our tables and the objects and groups panel down the left hand side.

However, in the title bar of the outer frame, next to the MS Access logo (the key), we have the words Microsoft Access. How can I change this name?

I don't actually want to change it FROM Microsoft Access, but TO Microsoft Access, because at the moment I have a company name which I am determined to remove!

Thanks for any suggestions.

On the Main MS Access menu, select Tools, Startup. Put the name you want to see in the 'Application Title' textbox and you're good to go!

MasterPO is right and deserves a * for his no nonsence reply, but perhaps you could also have a look at this FAQ: faq705-2586 Init StartUp and create your own copyright.

Hello and many thanks to you both for your speedy and appropriate replies. Great!
