Hi All,

I need to know how to make my data in my db viewable by specfic users. Right now, all users can see all the data. I want to change it , so users can only see some of the data. Is there a way to do this in ACT!? Thanks in advance.

ACT is NOT that robust. The flat file db isn't capble of filtering in the manner which you desire.

Your best best is to mark those contacts or activities that you DO NOT want these people to see as PRIVATE. Look up in the ACT manual on how to do this.

Hi,
Have several laptops sync with an ACT db on a server. Have deleted a user but keeps reappearing on syncs. Have triad deleting the user on all computers and reassigning. When I try to delete the old coct record I am rec. the note that I cannot delete a "MY Record" Is there a simple step I am overlooking? Thank you.
