database search

I have been tasked with creating a coldfusion website armed with the "ColdFusion in 21 days" book. I have it up and running, but my boss wants to add the capability to search the reports on the site. She doesn't want to do a text search, only keywords she designates. Is there a way to search only keywords in the database tables?
