I have a client that I do a website for and I am not that experienced. They have a Filemaker database that they have hired a programmer to fix for them. They need me to assist them with getting their database on the web. I am in a different state from them so all has to be done via phone or email. Can anyone help me as to where do I start??? Thanks!!

good start would be on their website :)
look at and check for the "Web Publishing Guidelines" in pdf it explains everythig in details; also I have to say that IF your "programmer" does not know answers to your post....well...you might want to find another programmer... I am serious...for your own good!
"Would you let someone drive your car after they ask you how to start it!".....well...it better be worth it {o}
hope this helps
