Database doesnt open

Hi,

When opening an 8mb database nothing opens. The .lck file opens, and when the database is closed stays open.

There are no error messages but just an empty access screen.

Has anyone ever experienced this and know of a fix?

All help appreciated.

Access Version?

Do you have Database window hidden

Do you have special keys disabled

does F11 show db Window

how do you 'satrt things happening' ie autoexecmacro, strat up form ...?

Hold down the SHIFT key while dblClicking the database. Change your STARTUP options before closing again. Hope this helps.
