I am working with a legacy application based on a Paradox database. Numerous documented procedures relating to table operations, (editing data, encrypting tables etc.), use the "Database Desktop" tools included in Delphi 5, which is what the application was written with.
I have now converted the program to run with 2006, but still use the Delphi 5 Database Desktop to view/edit/encrypt the tables.
I know I can look at data with the Data Explorer, but don't know how to attach this to the Paradox tables.
I sure the capability to do this work is in 2006 somewhere. Could someone point me in the right direction. It seems daft to have to rely on the old D5 system.
