Hope this belongs in this group,if not,I apologize. Unable to install Office 2k/pro SP1 under xphome/oem. XP/home is @ sp2. Off2k/pro loads ok but unable to apply any service packs. Been trying for days and been to hundreds of sites. Been all over MS & thru google/msn. Everything points to wrong version of msi file. However, no changes of msi file (version) seems to work. Currently loaded msi is version 3. All off2k/pro discs are original, not oem. All off2k/pro SPs' under win2k/pro load/run, but fails under {xphome/oem}. Performed regedit & deleted all keys pointing to msi versions w/no luck either. I'm @ my wits end. I did site search/& 27 pages here for this prob. under XP but no luck there either. Anyone else run into this & resolve the issue?
