Hi, I'm creating several reports that require many data providers (~100), but on one report now for some reason all the existing data that as in it (in the actual report, formatted, etc.) is gone, and whenever I try to add new data (or just the old data that should still be there) nothing happens?! If I go to the Structure view I can see the table with the data provider in it, but no data is shown normal view (not the table border, data, nothing). Has anyone else experienced anything like this or can you offer any help? We're using BO 5.1.1.

Thanks!
Brian

I figured out what the problem was. There's a little button to the left of the report window that toggles all the data shown/not shown. Oops.

Brian,

I really do have to ask. What report could possibly require 100 data providers, surley there is a better way of doing what you want. Maybe in the database ? Is it grouping data that is causing you to create 100 data providers ?

Hi Brian,

Double Click on the report window and uncheck the hide section checkbox. Or right click on the report select format section and uncheck the hide section check box.

Tip: Its not a good practice to ve 100 dataprovider for a document. There are ways to avoid this.
