I'd like to set up Generator to have a data source PUSH data to it, instead of Generator going to GET data. Does anyone know about Generator's socket connection/capabilities ?

You can pass veriables to the command line that generates it

eg generate -swf X.swf X.sft var1=X var2=X var3=X

should be able to do something similar with the online generator with your pushed data.
