Data Link properties

Hi fellows,

Not sure how to get the data link properties when connecting to a sql7 database. I have installed mdac 2.5.
I am following a web tutorial but I can only get the Data Source.

Please help.

Please try to be more specific, ie. are you trying to add a linked server in Enterprise Manager or where are you trying to connect from?

I am using Visual Interdev to connect to my database. When I do, I suppose to get the data link properties screen, but instead I get DSN and a browse option. I assume something is not installed but don't. The MDAC 2.5 is installed.
