I am sure this has been asked a million times but I can't find the solution. Can you not name the column headers in a data grid like you could in VB-6? I would like to change them at design time. Now they reflect the table field names which are confusing to the users.

Thanks,

Shannan

in your sql select them with as in your proc

like lets say instead of customername which is the field in the table and you want to show Name in your column header

change sql to select customername AS Name etc ...

I think you are talking about win grids..... The answer is in the TableStyles collection of the grid. You can create new table styles and apply it to the grid. During the process you will create columns and have the ability to change properties such as column name.
