data from re-labelled tapes

Hi there,
Valid backup tapes [SDLTs'] were re-labelled in error.
Is it possible to recover the data from these tapes?
[The next backup cycle for this media has not yet started]

Yes, due NetWorker's Open Tape Format. But it might become expensive. Search the web for data recovery companies like ontrack or vogon. They may help you.

Try eMag - should find them on the net - they specilise in "tapes" and recovery and will probably be able to help.
