Hi all

I have written the simplest macro intended to automate the action of : DATA - FORM... on the standard tool bar, which works perfectly well, manually!

I have the column labels in A2 to F2 and the required data in the columns thereunder!

Rightly or wrongly, I have the following code, which is the result of the macro recorder!

Range("a2:F2").Select
ActiveSheet.ShowDataForm

When activated, it throws up an annoying box that says:

Microsoft Excel cannot determine which row in your list or selection contains column labels, which are required for this command....etc etc etc

Why O why can't I grasp the simplest of tasks?

Can anyone stop laughing long enough to help me please?

Hi,

Try
Code:
[A2].CurrentRegion.Select

Skip,

[glasses] [red]Be advised:[/red]To be safe on the FOURTH, don't take a FIFTH on the THIRD, or...
You might not come FORTH on the FIFTH! [bomb][tongue]
