data error (cyclic redundancy check) 1

I m using Legato networker 6.2 (windows), LTO tapes ,
2 Tapes
Tape0
Tape1
only on tape0 i get the folowing error message.
Tape0 moving: fsr 10054: Data error (cyclic redundancy check.)
if i disable the tape0, then i get no error messages.
everything works fine with tape1.

does this tape0 need cleaning???
how can i clean tape0.??

If the tape drive requires cleaning, you should see an appropriate message in the Pending window. Cleaning would be a good attempt anyway but this must not necessary solve the problem. It could be a drive error but also may be due to bad cabling or termination.
