DAT download has started failing...

My scheduled DAT download task has started failing (every time) the error reported is a proxy authentication failure. This worked fine for weeks though and nothing has changed. Also if I do an immediate pull task it works, but doesn't this also use the same proxy settings as the scheduled task would?

Anyone had this happen and know how to fix it? I've tried recreating the scheduled task with no luck. I'm still on ePO 3.01 but planning to go to the latest version shortly.
 
Under the Epolicy Orcestrator Agent Configuration Policies there is a Proxy tab. Try switching the proxy settings to Dont use a proxy if you dont use a proxy or manually configure the proxy settings. I have had issues with managing Norton updates with using the default "Use Internet Explorer Proxy Settings"

Yeah we do have a proxy here and it was working with the settings for 3-4 weeks then it suddenly stopped. I've tried different user accounts but still get authentication failures.

What's puzzling me is why does the immediate pull task work - it doesn't ask for proxy details in the wizard so I assume it uses the ones already configured which the scheduled task would use?
