Is there some software to recover damaged CD's?
Thanks!

How damaged? As you can see, cracks are a serious problem. Scratches can be repaired. Normally you can use a "scratch repair kit" ($10.00 to $20.00). The laser picks up the information from the foil between two layers of plastic. If the plastic is scratched, the laser will pick up the scratches instead of the foil. I've even heard of using liquid floor wax to "fill" deep scratches. I would only use this as a last resort, the chemicals in the wax may damage the CD.
