Has anybody ever heard of a 512MB DAL2 board being recognized as a DAL1 Board ?
I'm trying to upgrade a CM 3.1.2 to 5.2.1, I swapped out the DAL board and I cannot get the upgrade to initialize because it still thinks there's a DAL1 board in there. The new DAL2 board shows its a DAL2 on the label and when I do a "cat /proc/mdd", heres what it shows :

dadmin@PBX1> cat /proc/mdd
This DAL-1 card is STANDBY

Has anyone ever experienced this before ?
I tried calling Avaya, since this customer of mine doesn't have maintenance Avaya wants to charge $3500 to open a ticket. and $600 for every half hr.... BS !

Thanks

Yes, I had this happen once during an upgrade.
The solution was to get a replacement DAL-2 card (they actually send a new set)
This was on an S8720 being upgraded...
