Customizing Oultook "Images"

Does anybody know how to customize the images outlook uses to display the yellow closed envelopes, open envelopes, etc. showing new mail or read mail? I would like to change this image and am curious if it is possible. Thanks!

I beleive these are resources which are bound into the executables and dlls of Outlook. You may be able to change them by using a tool like ResHacker.exe.


Be warned this type of "hacking" is not for the faint of heart or the uninitated. ----
