Current Windows Keyboard Layout

Hi,

I need get the current Keyboard Layout in the Windows Vista registry.

I know that the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Preload have the list of the loaded keyboads layout, and the first occurrence is the default. But I need the current keyboard layout.

What the Windows registry can I get this information?

But I didn't know that have an especific Windows Vista forum. Then, I move this question to this forum, because I did not understood your reply.

You said that the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\MultifunctionAdapter\0\KeyboardController registry subkey have the current keyboard layout. But, when I changing the keyboard layout thru Windows language bar, nothing change in the subkey.
