An Option 11c resides at this particular medical clinic. Clinic employees dial a 4 digit phantom dn that forwards to a specific U.S. Mainland telephone number. It works as long as I set the users for unrestricted (UNR) but get a busy tone when I change it to conditionally restricted (CTD), which is what they want because they only want specific calls to go thru this tie trunk application.

They access the tie trunk route using a 4 digit ACOD (ie, the first 4 digits of the ftr statement for this phantom dn is this 4 digit ACOD. This conditionally restricted (CTD) application does work at 2 separate locations. I'd tried to compare the programming, but there's quite a bit of info, especially since I'm a novice to the Option 11C, especially when it comes to NARS/BARS. Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure if this is the option your looking for, but one thing to check is to print RDR data in LD 21

TYPE RDR_DATA
CUST 00
OPT CFF CFRA DSTD PVCA CWRD

The OPT can have CFF or CFO

When set to CFF calls are forwarded using the forwarding phone class of service (ie in your case the phamtom DN)

I used this for our helpdesk which forwarded their phone to a mobile at night. I found that people that couldn't ring mobiles couldn't ring our helpdesk.. With CFF set they can now

HUGWideBoy,
Thanks for the prompt reply, I tried changing the option to CFF but to no avail.

However, I should have mentioned to you the ERR404 msg I received during the fast busy responses. Fortunately, a tech support person provided me with the following problem/solving information regarding ERR404, which ultimately solved my problem:

ERR404 ( no default tree exists)
Cause: System never configured New Flexible Code Restriction to allow digits to be dialed after dialing Route ACOD.

Fix:
Turned on NFCR, define no# of NFCR Trees. Build an NFCR Tree and apply it to the Route Data Block(ie, LD 15
CHG: Cust Data Block;
FCR_DATA – flex code Restriction Data;
NFCR YES= new flex code restr ;
maxt x (1-255).

Also need to access....
Ld 49
NEW - New Flexible Code Restriction Block
Type: FCR
CRNO X –code restriction tree number, ie, start w/ first unassigned 0
INIT Deny (enter)
Alow x, where x is the total number after the ACOD (enter)
Alow 1 plus the number (enter, enter, enter, etc)

Ld 16-Route Data Block
Chg rdb – page route
Frl 0-7 0-254 – FRL associated w/ Nfcr tree (in our case it was 0)

Thanks for your help.
