css putting a border on a drop down list 1

Hi I'm trying to put a border onto a <select> tag using css, I can get the background, font, font color etc to work, but cannot change the border atall, any ideas?

Hi,

There where more questions like this on this forum, and I can't remember that anyone succeded to modify the border with normal CSS.

But take a look at the BOTTOM of this site, to see what you can do with javascript.
