Hi.
I'm really getting into css's (and about time too) and newly using a:link, a:visirted and so on.
My problem is I want to use more than one style of a:link.
So that I'd have a site-wide standard, but have a local variation (I want to bring particular attention to one or two links to highlight new/breaking services).
Now, I can do this with onmouseover and so on, but it seems a:link (and its associated suite) are pagewide, and that you can't make use of cascading to make line-specific or local changes to size, colour etc.)
I tried making a whole new style sheet with its own a:link stuff, but when I refernce that for one link it applies to the whole page.
I hope this is clear. If not, I'll try to make it clearer, but I'm not sure how.
Any ideas about how to get round this?
