Hi all, I know the quintum is old school tech, but since its been around a while i was hoping somebody was able to figure out how to get a Tenor to register SIP trunks to a CS1K. I have a quintum tenor mocked up in my lab connected directly into my TLAN on the CS1K, and the PRI connection from the Tenor going to an IP Office system. The PRI connection is not an issue, only the SIP trunks at this point. I have SIP access port licensing on my CS1K, so thats not the problem. I have tried many configurations dealing only with the SIP trunks at this point for both the CS1K and the Tenor. The NRS is configured accordingly with the Tenor as a static endpoint, but yet the Tenor will not register to the CS1K. So from the tenor configuration manager, i click ..... View> Tenor Status/Info> SIP status, and the primary and secondary registar both port 5060, shows "Not Registered". I even tried a crossover cable between the Tenor LAN port and TLAN, and no luck there either. Any help would be great. Thanks

We normally get all SIP entities to register with Session Manager as recommended by Avaya . Make sure that your Signal server is also configured and up .

Hi Madwok, thanks for responding. I have seven IP Office tail systems SIP trunked back to my CS1K with no issues, so the SS is doing whats its supposed to..... Except registering my tenor.
