Hi

Anyone have experience connecting a CS1000M to a Polycomm RMX video bridge?

I have it connected using a NI2 COT route and it works inbound with no issues but outbound the call just hangs. I see the 91-npa-nxx-xxxx coming through on the dchannel to the RMX but never see it hit our LD trunk group D-channels.

It appears the RMX doesn't support QSIG so I'm unsure what other protocols to try. Polycom recommended NI2.

Thanks

Check the NCOS of the trunks on the TIE between the Polycom and your CS1000. If the NCOS of the trunks is 0 and 0 is not allowed to dial LD that would cause an issue. I have seen that a lot.

Also check your TGAR and TARG settings on the routes and make sure the Polycom trunks are not having a conflict there. If the TGAR on the TIE trunks matches the TARG on the LD route then they will not be able to dial out.

Are your trunks set as VOD? I have had issues setting up a call when they were vce in the RDB.

checked ncos targ/tgar and have the RDB set to 3VCE no luck. I'm beginning to think it's time to try something other than NI2 but I'm not sure which protocol to use.

Can you post the RDB, DCH, and a T1 TN of your NI2 to the RMX, and then the same for your external trunks? Also, your NET_DATA block.

Then, a DCH trace of both the RMX and the external DCH for the same call (RDX --> PBX --> PSTN) would be helpful.

Can anyone provide the configuration of a CS1000 PRI tie trunk to a Polycom RMX video bridge but to be used as voice only? D channel is established but when we dial the DID the call hits the RMX entry queue and then disconnects. On the phone we just hear ringing. RMX configured as DMS100 switch type and network side clock source.

Thanks in advance!

This is what I ended up using to get it to work.
