CS1000E Rel.5 - One Way Speech ... MGC update? 1

Hi there,

I have an issue with Rel. 5.
If I make calls with DECT or also 1120 and 1140 there are sometimes issues with One Way Speech right on the beginning...sometimes it happens after a while and it also get back to Two Way Speech.

I dont see any errors in logfiles, tyy port or traces...
I saw there are some new MGC files... could that solve the problem? During installation the MGC did update automaticly from the CS Software... but i guess that are still old files... Maybe someone can shortly explain how I can update that files... or maybe this is a different issue and i should check some other things first?

I checked... but I cant find any information how I will get the new loadware on the CS1000E so it will do an centralized update..

You will have to go to PDT to get the new Loadware to the CS1000E processor. Once the LW is on the CPU, reboot the MGC and it will do the upgrade for you. You will have to reboot the MGC is the only problem.

I had that problem while upgrading to Rel 5 with Geographic Redundancy. I had to load a patch on the CPPM Sig Svr and CPPM Call Server (the redundant ones). It was a problem with assigning the CODECS correctly.
