Can Microsoft Source Safe be used effectively for Crystal XI reports?

I have used it for CR 10 and it worked fine. However, note that only one person at a time can work on a report. Souresafe will not merge changes of two simultaneous users as it does for scripts etc.

We use Visual SourceSafe 6.0 to manage the development of CR-XI reports.
