crystal reports9 install on winnt system

Hi,all!
when I run the setup program,popup a dialog window that display :restart computer for install,it will automatic run the setup program after restart!
I do so,but after restart computer ,not automatic run the setup program.when I run again the intall program,the dialog window pupup again.

I can't understand it,anyone can give me a solution?

You have an old version of the MS windows installer, or if it was Win2k, then Win2k is protecting some Windows\System files.

After the reboot, simply re-run the setup.exe. This will resume the installation.

The reboot would have been post a MS Installer service update.

my system is winnt4.05,other the same winnt4.05 system computer can install success.
SurfingGecko,after reboot i re_run the setup.exe,but dialog display again.

Make sure ou are logged on as Administrator or as a local user with FULL admin rights.

Could be the installer is not setting the registry properly.

You could also try running the instmsiw.exe manually before running the setup.exe

This is the Windows Installer install file and should be in the same folder as your scr*.msi file
