Crystal Reports XP Hotfix Gateway computer

We have a client who is having problems running Crystal Reports on Windows XP on their Gateway manufactured computers. It happened when the following Hotfixes were installed (seems to only affect Gateway computers):

KB834707
KB890830
KB840987
KB873339
KB873376
KB885835
KB885836
KB890175

Any thoughts? At the very least, we are trying to help them narrow down which Hotfix may have caused the problem. The error message is the generic "Incorrect session paramters". Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used

Are you supplying an application which uses CR (if so, are you speaking of the RDC, or?), or are they running CR as well?

You're aware that this is generic, so not posting technical information will net guesses at best.

Sorry for the non-specific info: they are actually running reports created in a variety of versions- I believe mainly versions 5 and 8/8.5. They are running the reports from within a VB application which uses a Crystal Reports viewer (crystl32.ocx version 8.0.0.4). It appears to only affect users on Gateway computers- other users on other brands of computers have no problem after applying these hotfixes.
