From what I read, the version 10 DHTML viewer can print to the client without having to export the report to PDF. This is a big pain and I'm wondering how they solved it. Anybody tried?

As I understand it, they have singled out the print part of the activex viewer and applied this tiny download to the DHTML viewer.

Reebo99: Yes, I read that there will be a ligh weighted ActiveX control going along with the DHTML viewer to be downloaded on the client. Would be interesting to know if there is a similar solution for Netscape.
I've been a Crystal Reports user since version 5, and I thought version 9 was the worst version ever. We bought it the moment it came out. I found ten bugs in the first 30 minutes of using it. My coworker and I tried to communicate with Crystal about the bugs we were finding, and they just weren't interested. One person told me to BUY a few techincal support calls just to try to get my point across. We switched back to 8.5 about two weeks after buying 9 and haven't looked back. Like the rest of you, version 9 left our company feeling burned.
One other thing, I used a technical support call and asked them to put me and my coworker on the beta list for version 10. They told me we were entered into the system and should be contacted in a few months. Welllllllll...I see they already released version 10. I guess they weren't interested after all.
