crystal report in vfp

hi,dose anyone have any ideas when i print report from vfp the £ is printed as a "u" i have verified the database but dont know what else to do

Check to see if the font you are printing has the £ character in the ASCII position that you have it stored in the table. Not all fonts map the same visual characters in both the display and printed versions.

Try this: In Crystal Reports, open your report. Go to File / Options / Database. Look for a checkbox "Translate DOS strings". Try each of the two settings for this checkbox. In each case, save your report and try it again from VFP.
