Crystal next page/last page buttons

I am developing in Crystal 8.5. When I try to use the "last page" button, the report automatically returns to the first page. I have tried to scroll through using the "next page" button, but that will not work either. The report appears to have 89+ pages, but when I get to the 89th page and press the "next page" button again, it jumps back to page 1. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

You don't say whether you're using any kind of conditional suppression, but I'll assume you are.
Conditional suppression, especially when using page N of M, can cause this kind of behavior.
I'd check your suppression formulas, and possibly use a counter instead of N of M.
