Crystal crashes w/ Chart in design mode

I have created a basic chart to show qty over a 12 month period. I created a moving average as well for it. I use 12 as the order for the avg. When I have data saved, it displays fine. When I switch to design mode though, it crashes.
In design mode, there are only three data points shown for the example chart. I think it is because I have 12 set in the options for the moving average that is causing it to blow up.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

I'm using Crystal 7 and Windows XP.
