Hello

I'm using Crystal Reports 9.0. I am doing a report concerning health benefits and deductions. I have to include each benefit the employee is receiving and the problem is I have suppressed the name, SSN, Employee ID and salary except on the first record and it is reserving the spaces where that information should go before each benefit but is suppressed. Do you know how I can get rid of the blank spaces? I have tried putting the fields inside a text box and checking suppress embedded field blank lines but that didn't work either. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Why don't you group on EmployeeID or SSN and then move the name, SSN, Employee ID and salary into the Group Header? This would eliminate the need to suppress and free up that space for other fields to be displayed.

Create a Group based on the Employee ID and move the Name, SSN, Employee ID and Salary fields into the Group. This way, the information only appears once and you can format the detail section (containing benefits data) as you wish.
