Crystal 9 Printing Garbage

I have just installed Crystal 9 on my PC and have tried to print my first report. It views ok but prints garbage. I see from the threads that there is a problem transferring from 1 PC to another of the printers are different, but my default printer hasnt changed. I have no problem printing from any other apps, so the driver is okay. Anyone any ideas?

Gary,

You could start by eliminating the printer driver as the cause of the problem. Just change to a different printer (on the problem computer) and see if you still get the garbage. If you don't, the original printer driver is at fault. If you do, I don't know.

I am using Arial and I changed to Courier new. This didnt help.

I deleted and re-installed the printer driver as well. Still no luck. The printer I use is a Xerox MFD, if this helps.

I got it sorted. It WAS the font!!

In the printer properties there is a tick box 'use substitution table' or 'always send to printer' I ticked 'always send to printer' instead and all is well.
