Crystal 9 and SQL Server stored procedures: ODBC error

If I use Crystal 8.5 with a stored procedure (with parameters), I have no problem. When I try to create a report in Crystal 9 with the stored procedure, I get this error:

Query Engine Error: '42000:[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Syntax error or access violation'

This happens after inputting parameters. I have heard there are issues with passing parameters to SQL Server stored procedures in Crystal 9, but I do not know how to solve. Thanks in advance for any help!

I wasn't aware that it didn't work, perhaps your SP is a reserved word for the ODBC driver, try renaming it (oddly I've seen this before).

Make sure that you have the correct ODBC driver as well.

There are people using CR 9 with SQL Server SP's, so I'd guess it's a one off kind of thing.
