I'm trying to figure if in XI there is a possibility of implementing this report design. I know in CR8.5 it wasn't possible.

Plant Scheduled Category 1 Category 1
Hrs Hrs Percent
Plant1 XXX,XXX XXX,XXX XXX.XX%
Plant2 XXX,XXX XXX,XXX XXX.XX%
Totals X,XXX,XXX X,XXX,XXX XXX.XX%

Its basically a crosstab with percentages. I'd create a manual crosstab, but I don't know how many categories I'll have for the columns. The system allows users to add/remove these at will.

Percents of columns and row totals are easy in CR9 (or later). Just edit the summary and select the "Percentage" option.

You are actually not asking for a percentage, but a ratio of the other two totals. This is possible in exactly the format you ask for in Cr9 or later (and in earlier versions if you are happy with vertical alignment).

Look for Ken Hamady's article on ratios in a cross tab from one of his newsletters from last year. We will review the technique in a future issue of Crystal Clear, but it's at least a couple of months away.
