Crosstab to Excel 1

Hi All!
I have a crosstab query that I can click on and export to excel and it works just great. Thing is...I go behind the form interface to do this. I'd like to put a link on the report menu form so that other users can click on this link, the same as when they run a report, and it will automatically export the data into excel. Sounds simple...so why can't I do it.

Have you looked at (?):

[tt]DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel9, "Crosstab Query Name", "C:\Data\Crosstab.xls"

Or

DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputQuery, "Crosstab Query Name", acFormatXLS, "C:\Data\Crosstab.xls", True[/tt]
