Crosstab Reports with Page Numbers??

Hey guys,

Right so a cross tab object can not go into the detail section for obvious reasons, it has to go into the report header, so how on earth do I get Page Numbers to come up correctly.

I tried mucking about with the grouping expert to see if I could do anything with that but with no success.

Are you really telling me you can not have page number on a crosstab report??

Guys, when I use grouping, my 1st page says page 1 of 1, meanwhile all other pages say 1 of 9, 2 of 9 etc. There are 10 pages!!!

If you create a formula that includes all records, e.g.:

whilereadingrecords;
1

and then insert a group on it, you can place the crosstab in the group header and you will then have a page footer available for a page number.

Cheers, for the posts.

I ended up including an extra field from the db, which is always the same, then grouped on it.

Crosstab was then placed in group header and page numbers were added to the page header.

All working fine thanks.
