I have created several crosstab queries to show data in my table but regardless of whether I choose month or qtr I see that the data shown is across all years (e.g. Jan is not split into 2006, 2007 but all years are added). I treied to change the query so the date format was mmm, yyyy but then when I ran it there was no data at all in the columns. Please help!

Assuming you have a date field in your query, you can set the column heading to something like:
Code:
  ColHead: Format([DateField],"yyyy-mm")
If you want to display months where there is no data, you can enter all desired column names into the Column Headings property.

If you can't figure this out, come back with your current SQL view of the crosstab as well as what you are seeing.
