I need help from a cross tab expert. I have a query that returns: PositionCode, PositionDescription, EmployeeName, Department, SalaryAmount, HoursWorked.
I used the crosstab wizard and got a report like:
Total Department1 Department2
1 President Name1 $100.00 $50.00 $50.00
10 hrs 5 hrs 5 hrs
(Repeat for each employee)
I'm trying to find a way to put the Salary Amount and the Hours in the same line, I thought it was as easy as to drag the field and put it next to the other one, but it won't let me. I also want to add percentages to each department so for each employee it would look like:
Total Dept1 Dept2
$100.00 10hrs $50.00 50% 5hrs 50% $50 50% 5hrs 50%
I know how to create the percentage, that is not the problem, the probles is that when I include it it creates a new line (like in the first example). Is there any trick or am I missing something to be able to display the crosstab the way I need?
